At Mutts & Hounds, we care deeply about the planet and are committed to reducing our environmental impact to become a planet positive company. 

Partnering with SKOOT, we plant a certified tree with every order, enabling us to remove all the CO2 created in the carriage process. SKOOT is an award winning climate change platform, and a Top 5% B-Corp - helping businesses, individuals and communities remove their carbon footprint to achieve net-zero. Planting trees to sequester emissions in the world's most deforested regions, plus supporting and funding carbon reduction projects.

Our trees are currently planted in Tudor Creek, Mombassa, Kenya, in a beautiful 2216 hectare reforestation site. To date, we've planted over 6500 mangrove trees, sequestering 34 tonnes of CO2 as part of our journey to net-zero, which is the equivalent of 34 long haul flights!

Mangrove trees are chosen because of the wider benefits they provide. They absorb 5 times more carbon than northern hemisphere trees, whilst locking in huge amounts of waterborne carbon in their roots.
